Chalayan’s Fall 2014 collection traces a journey through his studio. The designer actually mapped out a spatial line in his studio, taking notice of the materials the line passed through. Each material gave influence to the looks, including colors and forms, and this gives the collection an overall clean architectural feel. One wonders what would happen had he traced a line through a zoo or a grocery store or junkyard?
