The J. Mendel Resort 2013 collection adds some tighter body-conscious forms with emphasis on construction techniques. While Gilles Mendel's signature feminine pleated evening gowns are there, the silhouettes this time follow architectural patterns, with contrasting seams highlighting body contours. Other looks include harder armor-like patterns in leather as well as raffia in this rich collection.
