The Lauren Moffatt Fall 2012 collection was presented at The Old School on Mott Street, which has been re-imagined into Lauren Moffatt's School for Wayward Girls. Inside, the models played students going about their day in two classrooms, Math and Art. The collection at first glance appears demure and wholesome, suiting the 1950s school environment perfectly. However, upon closer inspection, it becomes clear that these pieces have plenty of mischievous, naughty details. The ankle socks and peter pan collars are complimented by super short skirts, gold sequins, and a touch of mid-drift. The collection offers classic, super feminine silhouettes in a palette of neutrals and primary colors accented with bold, graphic patterns. Perfect for the good girl who is really a troublemaker at heart, this collection is flirty, effortless, and chic.
