White Sands Australia 2012

White Sands Australia showcased at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2012 with a chic and wearable collection. 

Zebra prints and muted pink florals were a highlight not only on the swimwear but also on the coverups and one-pieces shown. Their high waisted bikini bottoms echoed of a time of class and sophistication giving an almost classic retro feel. The bottoms may have been classic chic, but the tops upped the sex kitten factor with both plunging necklines and seductive cut outs. The backs of the pieces featured many criss-crossing patterns, many of which were constructed in a sheer fabric. Feather accents on the model's accessories reflected the brands exotic aesthetic with a dash of glamour with pearls and diamante bracelets and earrings. The ruffles on both the swimwear and the printed shorts gave off a very whimsical vibe as the ladies strutted down the runway. With such a wearable collection combined with their mid-range price points, it's easy to see White Sands Australia as a major contender in the swimwear space.
