Poko Pano 2012 swimwear collection presented at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami was based on designer Paola Robba's travels within her native Brazil and studies of the Amazon and its culture.

The models all had casual side braids with beach tousled hair. The music was all tropical with intense tribal drumming beats. Robba not only played with a bright color palette, she also included lot of textures into her pieces. Embroidery and braided leather textures are fixtures on many of the suits as well as a raised snakeskin print. The collection definitely did what it set out to do, which is to pay homage to an amazing country full of vibrant culture and wildlife.
