Dorit Lemel started with a fun day on the French Riviera in the first installment of her 2013 collection, showcasing two-tone swim pieces and classic bandeau bikinis in a range of solid pastel colors. Drawing from the sea spectrum, shades of coral, yellow, and muted pink and blue were top picks, while resort accents like a multi-colored kaftan with jeweled embroidery incorporated touches of every hue.

Designs for next year are inventive, versatile and the range of reversible pieces, exclusive prints and solid coordinates will make perfect sense to the woman who enjoys the option of wearing any one style several ways, and mixing textures and solid separates of the same color scheme.

With refined attention to detail and comfort, Dorit makes glamorous look easy with sleek looks in both the “Straw and Hay” and “On Stage” collections.

As “Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend” cued the final movement of the showcase, models literally strutted across  the stage in fashion forward (swim) suits, ranging from basic black monokinis to styles like the black and white twist front one-piece suit.

Judging by the collection next year’s look is all about color blocking, black and white basics, and  matching accessories.
