Dynamic Brazilian duo Mariana Adans and Patrizia Simonelli present Brazil's biggest and favorite beachwear brand for 2012 at the largest Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim venue. As the most sought after swimwear brand down south, Cia.Maritima is starting to make big waves in the USA.

For the 2012 collection, picturesque mediterranean locations and the 1970's served as the designers' inspirations. The colors and energy of such places showed throughout the runway presentation. With two young women designing, the season's pieces were reflective, in that they were young, fun, and totally rocking. Models with beach blown hair strut down the runway in step to rock n roll music. An abundance of color, highlights of Fluorescents, and bold prints of the animal, floral, and tie-dye type made their way down the catwalk. There was a strong sense of versatility and the option to mix and match pieces. Cover ups, effortlessly cool jackets, vests, and even embellished jean shorts were featured. Tassel details, shining hardware, and embroidery adorned many pieces. Ties and cut outs highlighted the playfulness of the collection.
